I'm Şakir! I participated in a short-term European Voluntary Service program in a kindergarten in Bitola and am here to share my experiences on this blog page. During this time, I have accumulated unforgettable memories and had a learning experience.

Working with children excited me every day with their energy, joy and pure hearts. Playing games, singing songs, telling stories and learning with them has become my greatest joy. Everyday I stepped into the classroom, meeting the smiling faces of the children instantly made me feel full of energy.

Valentina and Kristina in kindergarten captivated me with their energy when I first met them. Every moment they spent with the children in kindergarten was evident by the sparkle in their eyes. For them, children were not only students, but also jewels, hopes of the future. Valentina and Kristina set a great example not only in the field of teaching but also in the name of humanity.

Our mentor Nikola's leadership style was impressive not only in our project but also in everyday life. As an inspiring leader, he was driven by the vision of creating change in society and unlocking the potential of young people. By mentoring and motivating young people, Nikola gave them the opportunity to explore their own success and potential.

The European Voluntary Service program provides young people with the opportunity to discover new cultures and develop themselves by participating in community service in different countries. I also worked voluntarily in the kindergarten by participating in this valuable program.
